Freeze until the creation has finish,

The time it take to create is OK (8 to 10 min.) i'm creating it via system user
other users are suppose to be able
to connect to db while i'm adding the datafile but all connection are stopped ...

I'm creating 2 gbs datafile
on a path that already exist

i'm on a hardware raid 5
