  1. Client provides connectivity to database.
  2. Included by default on the machine where the database is installed.
  3. MUCH more information available by reading docco at http://docs.oracle.com
  4. At your stage, specifically look for Oracle Networking or SQL*Net
  5. If you are typical newbie, for your next 5-9 questions, look at http://otn.oracle.com >> Sample Code >> Oracle By Example
