Been done. Been done at Boeing. Been done at AT&T. Been done at amazon.com to name just a few.

They'll not publish results and those that have them are precluded from doing so by NDA.

But looking at the decisions being made, and where they are spending their dollars, should give a strong indication of what those results were.
