It's the full(ish) distribution. The ones you get with books tend to miss out a lot of the internationalising stuff that comes on disk 3. But the two disk sets provided still enable a fully functional RH9 install, particularly from the viewpoint of installing Oracle.

Not really. Not as far as the Oracle install is concerned, anyway.
