Your points are somewhat valid.

However, this day and age it is not unreasonable to expect someone to know how to use a search engine.

Some results using Google:

'ORACLE Newsgroup FAQ'		27,300 hits
'ORACLE Newsgroup FAQ 2003'	15,800 hits

and to determine to which NG to post

'comp.databases.oracle charter' 295 hits.

And by the way 'comp.databases.oracle.faq' yields 8 hits.

(If necessary, we could probably arrange lessons in how to use a search engine <g>)
