SQLPLUS or Form Builder do not start ...

Err, strange one this ... I have installed Forms and Reports 6i onto a Win2k Pro machine (previous had no other Oracle software). Everything as expected, tested connection to database sucessfull. sqlplus from a command prompt (connecting to database on seperate server) works fine.

I can successfully run Net8 Assistant, but it just wont close ! When clicking on any shortcuts, SQLPLUS, Forms Builder, Reports (or equivalent runtimes), nothing happens, the cursor changes to an hour glass breifly then nothing. I dont mind that much, quite like my desktop picture (a Renault Clio V6), but its very unproductive ...
