Don't ever EVER try to modify anything in the SYS or SYSTEM schema. You
are lucky
your SQL statement didn't work, it couldn't because it is totally
unrelated to the issue at
hand. If it had worked you'd have corrupted the database.
I can help you disable constraints ... as can others ... but what
bothers me is that anyone
that would have tried what you tried should under no conditions be
disabling any constraints
anywhere: You just are not qualified to make that kind of decision or to
understand the
implications.
Please post the reason why you want to disable the constraints. And if
it seems reasonable
someone will help you. Otherwise ... I would suggest that you should be
protected from yourself.
