OMS-Discovery Failed....?

I am using Oracle 9.2.0.1 on IBM AIX 5.1L System

I have a instance of DB called "khar" and is working fine. Now, I would like to use Oracle Management Server(OMS) to do create events/jobs for this instance...e.g: when archvie is FULL do this....and when tablespace is FULL do this....

So, I created a REPOSITORY using EMCA for this instance "khar" Later I LOG to OEM and select OMS option.....and enter following options:
Username: khar
password: khar
Management Server: 102.103.104.105

It logs me and then when I click DISCOVER NODE....it says "Discovery Failed: VD-4564 : cannot resolve host khar"

Later I tried adding hostname "khar.prod.db.com" and then I even entered my IP Address as "102.103.104.105" but still get the same message.....it seems that it does not recognizxe this NODE. - wonder why.

As mentioend earlier, I already created REPOSITORY using EMCA and STARTED the OMS by using:
$./oemctl start oms

Any hinst on above is appreciated....
