having hard time downloading oracle docs for OID

hello,
does anyone have any other links besides the otn ones for downloading the docs for the oracle internet directory? I've been trying a few times from the tahiti otn site and it just sits there - it doesn't download even after a 1/2 hour! (I'm on broadband internet access!) Also, are the docs for streaming or replication for 9i from otn correct?   I recall seeing a thread recently concerning typos or just plain wrong information on some oracle docs. I'd like to see if the streaming or replication docs are correct before I start reading them! If they're not a good source...what's a good book for the subject of replication on 9i?
