I would say it's stuffed, because memory is the real determinant with the install, not the CPU speed.

My (self-publicising) hint would be to visit my website and download my paper on installing 9.2 onto Red Hat 9, and see if there are any steps in there which you might have missed, or some steps which you took which you shouldn't have.

For the record, on an Athlon 1GHz with 512MB, the install once started takes about 25 minutes to complete.
