Materialized View from Oracle 8i to 9i

Hi all,

is it possible, or are there any known problems, regarding materialized views which are created inside an Oracle 8i database by a database link to an Oracle 9i db.

In more general i am interested in any information that shows problems which are coming up when you are creating materialized views between databases of different Oracle versions.

I dont have any experience in creating snapshots except the information i got from the 8i reference. And there isnt any information about version incompatibilities on this theme.
