Oh, do you mean to say that the Oracle marketing folks might be overly zealous in declaring how great AS/Portal is?

Companies like Red Hat, SUSE, etc have made good money taking all the "free" parts of linux and putting it together in an integrated package that they can sell.

Oracle takes a bunch of these unrelated web pieces, throws them on the CD, and says "hey, all the parts are there, so ain't we great?" Great if you have nothing else to do and really, thoroughly enjoy tinkering. Maybe now that Larry has said Oracle will go linux all the way, he should look at how Red Hat et al handles the integration issues. </tongue in cheek>
