Set password criteria in Oracle 9i R2

Hello all,
I was wondering if someone can help - please note I am very new to Oracle - so sorry if the informtaion is basic.

We are looking at implementing the follwing for a password on Oracle : 1 Enusre it has a minimum length of 7 characters 2 The password contains alpha and numeric characters 3 Not allow the recycling of a password until 5 changes have been made 4 Have the ability to chnage the password on first use or when created by the DBA team.

I have looked at profiles and can set the password recycling to be 5 - but I was told profiles could do all this but am stuck on geeting the other bits to work as well.
I have read and reading again the admin and security guides but am just stuck right now.

If someone could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.
Please note I have looked at profiles and functions to do this.
