My database is too fast

I remeber him doing one for 9i with the 'go_faster' hint. I almost believed it, but not quite.
It was close though !!

Attended today an excellent seminar by Jonathan Lewis in (not so) sunny
Canberra on the CBO where he demonstrated the new 10i feature of the
"TRY_HARDER" hint where Oracle will re-parse a statement if it runs like
shit.

Guess you don't need it !!



(BTW, the demonstration was a joke that was made even funnier when some

believed it :o)
