Very old ones presumably. So how would you explain the result I obtained (and knew I would obtain) where the SELECT INTO beat the explicit cursor by about 25%? And if you don't take my word for it, (a) try it yourself or (b) search AskTom for his more comprehensive debunking of this MYTH.
