Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Index Compression clause
Anyone confirm, deny or speculate as to whether there is a bug on 8.1.7
(32bit) with regards the compression clause on indexes?
Platform is HP-UX B11.
I've been getting this intermittantly:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [711], [1], [1074596568], [kdiulk
- prefix context], [], [], [], []
No errors reported by the client software (but no big surprise there either given their method of dealing with exceptions).
Comment on Metalink says:
"This error id due to rollbacks on leaf key operations."
Only been getting this error since using compression.. and only on a specific table (larger tables with compressed indexes in another schema have not resulted in this error).
Am I on the right track thinking this is potentially to do with compressed indexes?
