Had you read the manual you would never have tried updating any object owned by SYS.

Your cry on this is somewhat similar to one from someone that pours gasoline on themself,
lights a match, and complains when someone points out that he caused his own burns.
And pointing to MySQL is no more valid than pointing to the manual for a TV remote.

If you have backup tapes. Trash it and start from scratch. If not learn from the self-inflicted pain.
And next time leave the gasoline in the can.
