Oracle does not have an inbuilt coffee machine.

My point?

I may think a coffee machine is an important feature. You may not.

Same applies to all the Oracle features you have listed. Some of them are totally meaningless to certain db applications & implementations.

And it does not just stop at features. There are numerous other issues that make the dermination of the product to select. From current hardware platforms, staff skills, data volumes, existing applications, to budgetary, support, existing contracts, vendors and other issues.

The right tool for the job. There are times that right tool is SQL-Server.
