Your license agreement will indicate whether you have paid for a single OS or the more modern 'any OS' licensing. Either way, look at getting the appropriate CD Pack.

Oracle's Technet (http://otn.oracle.com)( has a lengthy section discussing this. Basically Red Hat Advancred Server 2.1 and UnitedLinux 1 (eg: SuSE SLES 8) are certified. Both cost $. Moving to traditional distros (Caldera, RH8/8, SuSE 8.1, Debian, etc.) will leave you in a potentially operational but uncertified and unsupported situation.
