Dunno. One thing is obvious: if Larry is playing this one as a game, he's gonna pay through his teeth! He can't just come up with something like this and expect ANY future credibility if he pulls out. And PS won't "move closer" to Oracle with this: they WILL overtake Oracle! By so much it's not even fun. Larry will end up a very distant 4th in applications if PS+JDE goes ahead. Stakes are very high on this one. Like I said: my gut feel is Oracle has woken up too late. I hope I'm wrong...
