It's a support call. You have encountered an unexpected and untrapped error, often either due to a bug or a misconfiguration of Oracle. Technical support have the resources to investigate it - usenet, generally doesn't.

In your particular case, I diagnose that you are using a pre 9i thin JDBC driver to connect to a 9i database, and that this doesn't work. I prescribe a driver update.
