Databee is not a replacement for export without a data, it complements it. The output of the DBA tool are DDL commands which would otherwise remain embedded in a binary .dmp file. The nice thing is that you can, for instance, drop storage clauses. You can do it with TORA as well, but TORA is much more powerfull and is much slower because it uses a database connection and not a binary fiole parser. LOB types are handled OK. As for the object types, I have none.

I did. The set of DDLs was complete, including the column default values. Sequences are not starting with last currval but with 1. You must take care of getting the last value over yourself, because the dump file does not contain that information.

The tool is free, so no additional costs are incurred. Databee does offer support, so if your boss insists, you can buy the license.
