Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> problems with shutdown immediate
when i did a shutdown immediate;
i got the following
ORA-01149: cannot shutdown - file 1 has online backup set
ORA-01110: data file 1: '/oracle/SID/sapdata7/system_1/system.data1'
afterwhich, i did
select * from v$backup and that there are 109 ACTIVE backups to go.
a shutdown abort will be disaster, right Received on Thu May 08 2003 - 21:50:50 CDT
