How many times do I have to say this... Im a developer not a DBA. I have deadlines. Shot in the dark is all I have until Im able to improve my knowledge of Trace Files. I dont have a firm understanding yet. It takes time to pick this up. I dont have that time to find results. When I work with less experienced developers I often give them general rules of thumb that though not 100% accurate generally get the job done. I was looking for an 'approach' here or possibly a rule of thumb to try out while I improve my skills.
I have deadlines that cannot wait for my skillset to expand. Why is this so complicated? Received on Sun May 04 2003 - 07:50:41 CDT
