Re: OMS Problems

Both the Data Gatherer and dbsnmp agent can be started from your "services" window.
There should be a service for Oracle Agent and another for Data Gatherer. Ensure that both of them are running. If this isn't the solution, then it may be in the sqlnet.ora file. Can you include your sqlnet.ora file in a reply? Also, which patchset are you running on 8.1.7?
