Snapshot questions

I have some questions about creating a snapshot environment (Oracle realease 8.17.4i Windows NT)

What do I need:

• Replicate Master Table A + indexen to a Remote server "Snapshot"
• Snapshot data is READ-Only
• Data refresh oneway every hour " FAST" and one time day "Complete" I have read the oracle documentation but the steps to create this environment is still not clear to me

Where do I employ the setup actions: On the master server, Snapshot server or make it no difference as long I select the right replication tree in the DBA studio (Snapshot Replication: Master site / Snapshot site)?

What is the right sequence of actions:
Master site - Setup Wizard Master side will be create REPADMIN will be created on Master side, SNAPADMIN on Master and Snapshot site.)

Master site - Create a snapshot log
(The CREATE SNAPSHOT LOG command creates an after row trigger on the effected table) If the the trigger fails because the log file is not there anymore or not able to insert new records will this have any effects on the master table normal production activities)

Snapshot site - Create Snapshot (Why is the check box always ON of : Enable the materialized view for query rewite event)?

Snapshot site - Create Refresh group ( Here I have to put in the resfresh information does this overide the refresh setting I already put in the snapshot setup?
Will the refresh group makes use of the refresh type from the snapshot setup?

If I want to do a fast refresh every hour from 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM and I want also to to do one complete refresh at 10.00 PM. how do I set this up because I can setup a 2nd refresh group but there is only one refresh type in the snapshot setup?

Where will the refresh being activated from the Master or snapshot site?
