Which bits of the phrase "did you need to include the entire init.ora in order to add a one-liner [reply]?" don't you get?

Your post consisted of the word "Thanks".

The post you replied to consisted of the init.ora, all several dozen lines of it, and as I read the thread, the posting of that init.ora made perfect sense at the time. The REPEAT posting of it, by you, didn't.

So I'll ask again: Did you NEED to include the entire earlier post in order to say "Thanks"?

Can you not learn to SNIP?

Phhhhhhhhhhhhhhhtzzzzzzzzzzzzz. (Sounds of a point flying completely over your head).

Yes there is, actually. From you. But I'll forego the apology if you just learn how to snip, start saving other people's bandwidth, and -not unimportantly- stop the hypocrisy that is evident when you don't stick to Netiquette, but chastise others for failing to do so, too.

Just start snipping, please.
