Problems across schema's

Hi



I am trying to drop and alter a table in another schema e.g. logged in as
wayne attached to schema wayne if i try and say drop or alter a table in
another schema say adam it will not let me do it.



I have tried select any dictionary but with no avail. Do i need to use
CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM instead?



Any help will be much appricated.
