Hello,
I have got some problems with TPDO for ORACLE 2.2.1 and ORACLE 8.1.7.4.
When I'm executing : allocate channel tape1 type 'sbt_tape' parms 'ENV=(TDPO_OPTFILE=<opt_file>'; with RMAN
I'm getting this errormessage.
RMAN-10035: exception raised in RPC: ORA-19554: error allocating device,
device type: SBT_TAPE, device name:
ORA-19557: device error, device type: SBT_TAPE, device name:
ORA-27000: skgfqsbi: failed to initialize storage subsystem (SBT) layer
IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 2518: Error 2518 occurred.
Additional information: 7011
ORA-19511: SBT error = 7011, errno = 2518, sbtopen: system error
RMAN-10031: ORA-19624 occurred during call to
DBMS_BACKUP_RESTORE.DEVICEALLOCATE
On other nodes with TDPO 2.2.0 and ORACLE 8.1.6.3 I didn't have got this
errors. The whole password stuff is working and the links (libobk.a) are
all correct. I have checked this several times.
Had anybody else this problem or knows anybody where this problem is related too ?
regards
