patchset install question

Hi,

I have to install patchset 8.1.7.4 ( HP-UX 11.0 ) The README.html says something like:

1- stop database
2- upgrade binaries
3- start database
4- execute some procedures

I have 2 databases with the same ORACLE_HOME

Have I to execute the step 3 and 4 for ALL the databases sharing the same ORACLE_HOME ?
The README is not clear about this....
