Did you install 64bit oracle on the solaris 8 system? If so, check to see if top is a 32bit app or a 64bit app. If it's a 32bit app then it won't be able to determine memory information for the 64bit oracle processes as the solaris kernel 0's those figures out for 32bit readers. If top were built as a 64bit app it would work. Best to use prstat in any case.
