FYI Oracle have released new version of the apps SQL Explain plan scripts as a replacement (I hope ) for the COE functionality (which wasn't bad either)

A bit apps-centric but it should be OK for doing an explain plan with all the trimmings for ANY sql statement. Things are getting better !

Give it a go - it's only a 62K zip download.

(although I still use Guy Harrison's little Xplain tool ) Under note 215187 on metalink.
