opatch error in OS

Hi,
I downloaded patch 2713501 and execute 'opatch apply' from the 2713501 directory, then I get the following message:

Performing pre-patch installation checks.

/usr/local/apps/oracle/bin/opatch.pl version: 1.0.0.0.14 Copyright (c) 2001,2002 Oracle Corporation. All Rights Reserved. This patch is not suitable to this operating system. Please contact support for the correct patch.

$ uname -a
SunOS 5.8 Generic_108528-18 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-4, 64bits

Any ideas?
