I'm not sure why you feel the need to get unpleasant about it. You used an acronym that had a specific meaning in 8.0.

Happier if you'd drop the attitude, actually. Words have meanings. It helps to use the right words to convey accurate meaning.

Great. So you qualify as a 'complicated backup strategy' site, and a catalog is just what you need. I didn't say otherwise.

And how widespread do you think this practice is?
