you are trying to solve the wrong problem! the help you got from the people responding you, is exactly what you need! your tool is obviously pure shit => replace it or try to live without one! this may seem like a lot of work (and propably is!), but believe me: with a db-design like yours, your current problem will be only a minor one compared to those expecting you!
don't be shortsighted; your problem is "tricky", but would be trivial with better design => really complex problems will not be tricky but unsolvable; thats for sure! Received on Fri Jan 31 2003 - 10:05:32 CST
