Re: Unable to do a normal shutdown or Export

This seemed to resolve the export problem but not the problem with a normal shutdown ie

    shutdown normal

      SQL> connect internal
      Connected.
      SQL>
      SQL>
      SQL> shutdown normal;
      I then checked the alert file and it said
      SHUTDOWN: waiting for logins to complete.
      I was the only person logged into the database using a sqlplus session
to
      connect so am a little bit confused by this one.
