In fact, when I installed Oracle 9iAS, the following entry was added to one of the many generated tnsnames.ora files:

repserv,repserv.world=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=LF_DEV2)(PORT=1949))

All on one line ... and even a comma-separated alias list. Of course, 9iAS Reports is an 8.0.6 product. Received on Fri Jan 17 2003 - 13:54:08 CST
