You sound not stupid, I thought this should be easy by issuing a df -h but it is not.

So how to determine the swap space size? Hm, a look in /etc/fstab shows you which partion is the swap partion. With fdisk you might take a look into the partition table. Form there you will know the size in blocks of your swap partition, but how to compute the MB out of block size?

I will think about it, though im sure that there must be a easier way ...
