Thanks for the interest.
Pardon my ignorance, but does the University of Washington mean Washington DC or Washington state ? (I did try to organise a run of the seminar in February so that I could get to the NWOUG event in Feb, but it fell through).
I'm always available, and willing, to travel to do presentations - the only big issue is the time it takes me to get to the USA. Even when I go for consultation trips, I assume it's going to take out two days just on the travelling, so I advise client's to book me for a week and have plenty for me to do.
In the case of the CBO tutorial, it's only a one-day event, which is a bit painful for what could be effectively a three-day round-trip. However, with a suitably sized audience, the finances could work out - if we can work out a costing mechanism that you are happy with.
Did you have any scope in mind, or was this just an exploratory idea to get things going ?
