Big Brother has at least one script available for monitoring Oracle.
Look around at the appropriate web sites, the one we use is called "bb-oracle.sh", its header looks like this:
# Title: bb-oracle.sh # Author: Greg Clough (c) 1998 (http://www.ozemail.com.au/~gclough) # Date: 30th January 1998 # Purpose: Check the status of all ORACLE databases and report back to # the "Big Brother" display master. # Usage: * This script should be "dotted" in from the bb-local.sh script
