Nope.

It must have been 6. Not 5. Parallel Server simply could not have been implemented with the 5 architecture. There was a HUGE change in Oracle architecture between 5 and 6. Nyways, the very first PS I worked with was in 1990, V6.1. Brand new then, still got the doco that came with it hanging around somewhere in the garage.

Doubt there is such a thing as the "doo-dah's" on this but if I were you, I'd contact Ken Jacobs. If any1 knows in detail the evolution of Oracle Server since yonks it's him: he was in charge of product development of the darn thing for a looooong time.
