You have just one computer. Have you just the one database? You need a second database in which to house the management server's repository. Have you created that repository using the Enterprise Manager Configuration Assistant.
I've just spent five minutes answering someone else's post on exactly the same topic. You might want to check it out, since I described it more or less step-by-step there.
(Just in case someone want's to nitpick, yes it's true that you don't strictly *need* a second database in which to house the EM repository, but you lose a lot of functionality if the respository is within the database you're actually trying to manage).
