Your problem is not with the permissions on the link, but with the permissions on the actual device itself.

If you follow the symbolic links from your /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s4 to the actual device link in /devices you will probably find it has permissions of
brw-r----- 1 root sys 118, 0 May 3 2002 ssd_at_w50020f2300002b75,0:a

Your sysadmin will need to resolve this for you.
