Try using BlackDown JDK rather than IBM or Sun version, you can get it
from ftp://ftp.uk.linux.org/pub/linux/java/JDK-1.1.8/i386/v3/
or some other mirror sites which may be nearer to you. It always works
for me, other two JDKs not.
