One of the benefits of wrapped code is that it prevents keen DBA's from changing the stored procedures that may be seen to be core to the successful functioning of the engine. As to whether this is the primary driver for Oracle's (or anybodies else) use of them, I couldn't possibly comment :-) Received on Wed Oct 30 2002 - 21:40:28 CST
