Oracle 8i or 9i and Windows XP

Hi,

I've got compaq Evo notebook with Windows XP Pro and 112 M RAM. I tried to install Oracle 9i but it was not successful because of small RAM size.
So, I installed 8i after replacing JRE yesterday and it's done. But, today morning, it doesn't start up and I've no idea why it doesn't work properly.
Is this not specious memory problem or Windows XP problem ? I'm wondering what is actual H/W spec for Oracle 8i and 9i. Thanks, Received on Tue Oct 29 2002 - 19:20:44 CST
