How to RTFM

"It's very easy to say "RTFM", but what if the manual actually consists of *** 23 *** Volumes (Oracle 8.1.7), some of them being 1000+ pages?

As a beginner, you sometimes even don't know where to look up."

Which isn't an entirely unreasonable comment. Fortunately Oracle Corporation provide some excellent searchable documentation at

http://TAHITI.ORACLE.COM . Putting keywords (say RENAME and TABLE) into this search engine will often guide you to the relevant section of the aforementioned FM.
