Migrating ingres server side application using a gateway

Hi all,

We are considering migrating our ingres application (client on OpenRoad 4.0, server IngresII/2.0)
to an Oracle or MSSQL server (while keeping the client side in openroad).

We plan to use CA-Entreprise Access Gateway.

Did anyone go trough the same process?

We have about 250 procedures/rules.
The questions are the following:
- How much workload would that be to migrate?

• Are they any tools to 'automate' the retranscription?
• Is the syntax very different on Oracle/MSSQL?
