solving oracle and windows domain

This is about oracle machine 8.1.7 in a windows active directory domain. My oracle will not auto start but with my utp cable unplugged it will, to solve this problem:

Change the sqlnet.ora outquote #SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS) Problem solved.
