Re: Oracle 9i Client connections to Oracle 7 DO work (sort of) !!

It appears that it is using its own methods that replicate the Oracle Client's functionality but are not the Oracle client ( the v9i incompatibility is probably in the Client software itself and not in SqlNet ) so it can work for all those versions...
